Where are my Revision sunglasses made?
Our goal is to make the best products we can for you. If something is beyond our current in-house capabilities, we work with our global network of partners in the USA, Canada, and Asia to make sure that you have a cutting-edge product. We thoroughly examine and test all individual components in our Essex, Vermont facility before anything is picked, packed, or shipped. Your custom Revision frame/lenses combination is hand-assembled by our dedicated team here in Vermont, carefully packed, along with accessories, and shipped out to you.

What are the different markings on the frame?
You may see some of the markings below on the inside of the arms of you eyewear. Here's a crash course in what they mean:
- Z87.1 eyewear meets basic protection requirements set by the American National Standards Institute, ANSI Z87.1
- CE eyewear meets requirements of the International Standardization Organization (ISO 12312) and is compliant with Regulation (EU) 2016-425
- Z87.1+ eyewear meets the basic and impact-rated requirements for ANSI Z87.1, the American industrial protective eyewear standard

What are your frames made of?
Our frames are made of Grilamid TR90NZZ, an extremely lightweight, flexible material that is flame-rated and impact, UV, hydrolysis, and crack-resistant—perfectly suited to the kind of environments we expect you to find yourself in.
What are your lenses made of?
We use high-grade polycarbonate for our lenses. They have a macro-molecular structure like a beehive, for higher impact and chemical-resistance and better clarity than traditional polycarbonate lenses.
What kind of UV protection do your lenses have?
100% UVA and UVB protection.
Are all of your lenses polarized?
Yes. Not sure exactly what that means, why you'd need it, or why you'd want it? Here's the scoop: Polarized lenses essentially eliminate glare which is produced when light reflects off flat surfaces. They are better at filtering light, specifcally light that is intensified because it is being reflected off a surface. Polarized lenses give you crisper, clearer vision and reduce eye strain and fatigue over long periods. Check out this handy visual explanation of polarized light on our Product Technology page.
What is OcuMax® AF?
In a nutshell, this encompasses the lens coatings and materials that make our lenses OUR lenses: water and oil-repellent coating; layers of abrasion protection; polarization film; lightweight-but-tough, impact-resistant, macro-molecular, beehive-structured material; and proprietary anti-fog coating.

What is your return policy for prescription orders?
Prescription orders are custom-made so unfortunately we are not able to accept returns on these items.
How long will it take to fulfill my order?
We do everything we can to get your lenses processed in 14 days. However, it could take up to 21 days to get your eyewear to you. You can contact our Customer Support team at any point to inquire about your order.
How can I make changes to my prescription order?
All Rx lenses are custom-made based on your completed Rx form. Once received, prescription orders are sent out to our Rx partner for processing. Please ensure the accuracy of all information provided on your completed Rx form. If you think there might be an error in the information you provided, please contact Customer Service ASAP.
How can I place an order for Revision Outdoor eyewear with prescription lenses?

What exactly is a Pro Bag and how do I use it?
Revision's Pro Bag is not like a regular case: It traps air when rolled and clipped, creating a cushion of protection around your eyewear, but stows flat, and is virtually weightless, when not in use. It's our solution to the problem of hard cases taking up precious space in packs when out on long hunts. It's also just a very practical accessory to have on hand—it's made of coated nylon with taped seams to keep contents dry and dirt free (but it's not waterproof, so it shouldn't be immersed in water).
How do I tighten the retention strap?
Each retention strap includes a cord lock. Just pinch and slide as needed to tighten. Bonus tid bit: We affectionately refer to this little guy as "Vader" because, well, look at him!
Why am I seeing Revision Military products in my Revision Outdoor shopping cart?
If you have an account on both Revision Outdoor and Revision Military using the same email address, your accounts and shopping carts are linked.
So if you log into one of the sites and add something to your cart and then move to the other site and add something to your cart, you will see both items in your cart no matter which site you are currently on. You can also remove items from your cart no matter which site you are on at the time.

How can I check the status of my order?
Excited to get your new Revision eyewear? We get it! We provide updates as your order is being processed and confirmation once it ships. But, if you're looking for up-to-the-minute order status, check out your order history under the My Account section of Revision Outdoors’s website—accessed from the navigation pane at the top right of every page. Once you log in to your account, go to My Orders to view status and tracking information.
Can I cancel my order?
We may be able to cancel if you let us know as soon as possible. We try to process your order and get it out the door within 24-48 hours, so if you want to catch it before it goes out, it's best to give us a call at 1.800.383.6049 before it's too late.
How can I locate a dealer or store that sells Revision products?

What's the cutoff for same-day shipping?
The cutoff for processing same-day shipments is 1 pm EST, Monday through Friday. If an order is placed after this time, Monday through Thursday, and you select overnight shipping, your order will ship the following business day. Orders placed after 1 pm EST on Fridays will ship out on Monday. All orders are subject to product availability.
What if I made a mistake when placing my order?
We all make mistakes. We're here to correct whatever you need adjusted with your order. But make sure you contact us and let us know as soon as possible because once you place your order the ball is already rolling to get it ready for you. Give us a call at 1.800.383.6049 if anything is amiss.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We know you're excited; we can't wait for you to get your eyewear either. From the second you place your order, the wheels are in motion. Most orders are shipped within 2 business days. Factoring in ground shipping estimates, you can expect your order within 10-14 business days from your order date. If there's any hitch in the chain, we will notify you as soon as we possibly can.
How much is shipping?
Gratis. That is, ground shipping is free. If you'd like expedited shipping, we have some options available at checkout. Standard rates do apply and vary based on your order size, shipping selection, and location.
Do you ship to APO/FPO and PO box addresses?
Yes, we do! Your order will be shipped via USPS. We estimate 5 to 14 days for delivery once the order has been shipped. However, some destinations may take longer.

We currently ship to the U.S. and Canada. In the future, we expect to expand to other regions and countries.
care and storage
We suggest that you keep your Revision eyewear clean and stored in the pouch provided when not in use to protect lenses and frames from damage. Do not store eyewear in direct sunlight or in temperatures that exceed 63°C/145°F. For additional protection, stow your eyewear and pouch in our Pro Bag. Remove excess air from the bag, fold the top edge down about 7 times, and fasten the clips—this will provide a cushion of air around your eyewear.
How do I clean my Revision glasses?
Our lenses are pretty durable, but they still need a little TLC. To clean them, blow any dirt and dust off the lenses. Rinse under warm water (no soap or detergents) or use an eyewear-specific lens cleaning solution. Gently wipe lenses with a soft microfiber cloth, like the one conveniently tacked into your eyewear storage pouch. Do not use any paper products to wipe lenses; this may scratch them.

Are accessories covered under warranty?
Our accessories have a 1-year manufacturer's warranty.
Are scratched lenses covered under warranty?

What is Revision's warranty policy?
Revision eyewear is backed by a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defect in material or workmanship.
Revision Military (“Revision”) warrants its eyewear products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the following periods after the date of first sale from an authorized dealer (the “Warranty Period”): Revision's outdoor eyewear has an unlimited lifetime warranty. Only the original purchaser of a product is eligible for warranty coverage. If a product is found to be defective by Revision, in its sole discretion, Revision's only responsibility shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective product. Revision will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages incurred as a result of loss or use of product.
Do you accept returns on prescription orders?
Alas, we do not. Prescription orders have been customized so they are not eligible for a refund or return.
When can I expect my refund?
Hang tight, it can take our warehouse up to two weeks to receive and process your return. We'll be sure to keep you posted on the status of your return as soon as it makes it back into our hands.
How do I return a Revision product?
To start a return, simply give us a call at 1.800.383.6049 (within 45 days of purchase) and we’ll be happy to work with you. Please note that we will not accept returns without a Return Merchandise Authorization number, so make sure you get in touch with us before sending anything back.
What is Revision's return policy?
We accept returns up to 45 days after the original shipping date. Revision product must be returned in new, unused condition; in the original packaging; and with all components included. Product must be in saleable condition—in other words, all items in the exact condition in which you received them. Rx products are not eligible for refund or return as these have been customized. Sale items are considered FINAL SALE and are not eligible for refund or return.

What are the steps to get my Revision discount through the ID.me system?
From the Revision Military or Revision Outdoor sites, locate the item(s) you would like to purchase and select “Add to Cart.” In the upper right hand corner of the main navigation pane, click on the cart icon to view your cart. Once you are on the “Shopping Cart” page, toward the bottom of the screen you will see a section that says “Get Verified with ID.me.” In this area, you have the option to choose “Responder”—for all law enforcement, firefighter, EMT, or first responder users—or “Troop”—for all military personnel.
Click on the category that applies to you; this will open up a new window and you will be prompted to sign in to your ID.me account. If you do not already have an account, you will need to create one—follow the steps on ID.me to do so and provide the necessary documentation to verify your identity. Once you are successfully signed in and verified, you will be redirected back to the Revision shopping cart and the discount will be displayed in your order summary in the right hand column. From there, you can “Proceed to Checkout.”
Is ID.me secure?
ID.me was created as a security measure. In essence, as the company itself says on their site, the platform is designed “to help make sure you’re you—and not someone pretending to be you.” As such, ID.me provides the strongest identity verification system available to prevent fraud and identity theft, using bank-grade encryption to keep your personal information safe. Hundreds of well-known private-sector companies (like Linkedin, Ford, and USAA) and government agencies (like the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs and the California DMV) have also chosen ID.me to help keep their customers’ personal information safe. Plus, users are in control of which services and businesses you share your information with, always giving your explicit consent.
What information will I need to provide to get the military/law enforcement discount?
You can choose from several options to verify your identification. For all “Responders”—law enforcement personnel, firefighters, EMTs, and first responders—information such as agencies, certification dates, or registry information can be used to instantly verify group statuses. ID.me checks this information against federal and state databases.
For anyone in the “Troop” category—all military personnel, including active duty and veterans—you can use your existing USAA account to rapidly verify your military status (this is the fastest and most popular verification option on ID.me). You can also enter your service information and ID.me will verify your military service record against multiple databases. Or, if you are serving on Active Duty, in the Reserves, or in the National Guard, you can use your .mil email account to confirm your military service.
For all ID.me users, you can also upload images of official documents to verify your status. The ID.me team reviews document uploads within 60 seconds at a secure U.S.-based facility.
